Although I'd still like to come up with a totally out of the box idea, here are some of my stop motion project ideas so far.
-A guy is picking out a shirt to wear for the day and as he looks over which one he wants the shirts wave their arms like they want to be picked. I don't know where I'd go with it but putting support wires in the sleeves of hanging shirts would make this idea a very do-able one.
-Make a marshmallow person with wire limbs and an animated paper face (maybe just an eye or something) and he could react to other marshmallows or the world around him.
-Draw a cartoon, cut it out and have it walk around in real space. This would be a very time consuming one because I'd have to fully animate this cartoon by hand, then cut the figures out and prop them up each frame.
In the end, of course, you chose the shirt idea, which every body enjoyed. There are just a couple of scenes where I'm unclear about what's happening: 1) Is the maroon shirt trying to commit suicide, and are all the other shirts trying to help the blue shirt pull him up? and 2) After, he's safe, is he fighting the attention from the blue shirt, and are the other shirts trying to call off the blue shirt or help it console the maroon one?
