Illustrator Images

This was me trying to play with making a face.  Ew!  It didn't crop all the way!

It's a French Horn!  Although now that I think about it, French Horns have 4 valve triggers and a fifth one for the thumb, but I think it still works.

This is a 2D rendition of Kepler's model for understanding the structure of the universe.

Here are my rings!

I traced one of the wonky pictures of me from the photo booth assignment.

Here are my shapes!!  Pac-Man ghost!

Teddy Bear!

I've been wanting to write a satirical (and short story) comic for a long time and I want to call it "The Trademark: Logos of our Generation."  "Logos" meaning both for logo and for the rhetoric term "logos" of the logical appeal.  It would be a series of short stories revolving around a mysterious and powerful trademark logo.

  1. Oh wow! These are really great. I like your self portrait a lot as well as the first picture of these designs. the teddy bear is really cute :). And I really like the first ring you posted. I like the color scheme of it and Like the fact that its not circular, it's more of a decagon which is really cool because no one else thought to do that. I also like the fact that you choice to do an instrument it turned out really well. Very nice job.

  2. You did a good job on the self portrait. There are some gaps in the self portrait and the top man (nice on the paint brushed beard) that I are a little off for me.

  3. your self-portrait is nice. its cool that it is a tracing of a photo.

  4. i agree your self portrait is really nice. I really like the first image- is that a brush for his hair??? I really like it...

  5. hilarious your self portrait, i like how you didn't do the norm and went out and made actual images of things
    good job

  6. i think it would be good if you added more value to the hair, incorporating black and other grays as well.

  7. I like that you always have some sort of inspiration behind your work, even if it's just an easy class assignment!

  8. lookin good travis, cant wait to see what else you come up with!
